FCVFRA Donates to Frederick County Fire & Rescue Museum

At the meeting of The Frederick County Volunteer Fire & Rescue Association at the New Market District Volunteer Fire Company on Thursday March 19th the Association voted to donate $1,000 to the Frederick County Fire & Rescue Museum.

The Museum contains the history of the Fire Service in Frederick County and has artifacts, pictures and early apparatus of the fire and rescue companies that have served Frederick County for over 200 years! The operation is run by volunteers and is maintained by donations. The museum and the members who are working on keeping Frederick' County's fire and rescue history alive for all to see and remember are very appreciative of the donation. The museum opens again most weekends, starting in April, 2026.
