| The Frederick County Fire & Rescue Museum will be holding a “mini-muster" In conjunction with the Francis Scott Key Antique Auto Club on August 15, 2026 at Rose Hill Manor. Featured this year will be “Truck 16” the antique ladder truck that was special called to the Pentagon on September 12, 2001 to assist in firefighting operations. On 9-11, the truck was owned by the Woodsboro Fire Company and was a low profile 1955 Mack Aerial Ladder Truck that was small enough to enter the interior sections of the Pentagon. The unit received special recognition from then Vice President Biden at the 10th anniversary of 9-11. In addition to “Truck 16” several other pieces of antique apparatus will be on display.
